Evenings home alone with the two youngest don’t happen very often for me, but tonight I had too much of a cold to go to church and so kept Klaus and Eva home with me.

It was so sweet to have some quality time with my boy. The evening was filled with trucks, fire engine sounds, races, snuggles, and songs.

I know it is the natural state of things that I don’t have the time to do with him what I did with Sophia at the same age–life is different and so are the activities that work with 3 kids as opposed to just 1 or 2–but it makes a real treat of an evening at home!

And of course, my Eva-girl is pretty special too. There were loads of slobbery baby kisses all round 💜
