Don’t Kiss the Frog! Is a collection of princess stories–with a twist.  Clumsy princesses, twist endings, and lots of strong characters, Don’t Kiss the Frog is a cute book that brings some depth to the traditional genre of princesses.  As the mother of a princess-obsessed chicka, I found a lot of merit in the more down-to-earth portrayal of princesses.  I think we can all agree that princesses are great, but it’s even greater to see princesses in fancy dresses doing cool things, being powerful and independent, and all that jazz.

So, if you also have little girls who love princesses, and you want to let them have fun with loving princesses, but also be encouraging qualities besides singing and wearing pretty dresses, this is a great book to check out!
